The song was released in the UK featuring vocals from Jump Smokers!. "Alone Again" was released in November 2010, entering the Canadian Hot 100 at #79 for the week of January 1, 2011 and peaked at #3 the week of April 23, 2011. Alone Again was the top selling, highest charting, and most spun single by a Canadian artist at Canadian radio in 2011. It is now CRIA certified double platinum in Canada. A music video to accompany the release of "Alone Again" was first released onto YouTube on 18 May 2011 at a total length of four minutes and five seconds. Alyssa Reid (born March 15, 1993) is a Canadian singer and songwriter born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her single "Alone Again" ft. P. Reign, released in November 2010, samples lyrics from Heart's 1987 hit "Alone", and co-written with Wax Records label owner, Jamie Appleby. The song entered the Canadian Hot 100 at #79 for the week of January 1, 2011 and peaked at #3 the week of April 23, 2011. As of the week of September 24, 2011, the single has spent 39 weeks on the chart. It is a certified Gold record in Canada. In February 2011 she reached #1 on Billboard's "Canadian Emerging Artist" chart and held there for a record breaking 33 weeks straight. Her newest single "The Game" was released on May 31, 2011 and entered the Canadian Hot 100 at #89 for the week of August 3, 2011, peaking at #35 as of the week of September 24, 2011. In February 2012, "Alone Again" debuted at #2 on the UK Singles Chart.
